Story Group
Our speech therapists will enhance children’s interest in reading and train children’s reading comprehension and expression through reading books and telling stories.
Completing this course will help you:
- Improve children’s narrative skills
- Improve narrative organization skills
- Understand and apply story elements
- Improve the ability to understand task thoughts and emotions
For target audience:
- School children with suspected or confirmed dyslexia
- School children with difficulty reading
- School children who have difficulty coping with reading comprehension
If you are interested in enrolling your child in our Story Group, please note the following:
Your child will need to begin with one-on-one therapy sessions first. Once our therapist identifies suitable peers and determines that group-based learning can more effectively support your child’s social and language development, we will be happy to discuss the possibility of organizing group sessions with you.
